Selected artists and community organizations in India were invited by Curator Nandita Palchoudhuri to create Aids Ribbons using their traditional media. The resulting Ribbons span a wide range of materials including Terracotta, Silver filigree, Shola Pith, Hand painting, Bead work,embroidery, Tatting, Kantha work etc.These ribbons have been exhibited as a part of the Make Art Stop Aids,exhibitions in the US,Mexico ,South Africa etc.

Giant replicas of the ribbons have been shown in India as a part of a mobile exhibition ,mounted on the back of travelling three wheelers.
